Field Security wishes to hereby inform residents of Marloth Park, homeowners and the community at large of operational changes that are aligned with the National Lockdown as announced by his Excellency, President Cyril Ramaphosa on the 23rd of March 2020.
As prescribed by the Disaster Management Act, under which the lockdown was announced, Field Security, as a private security firm, forms part of the essential services that are exempted from the lockdown.
Extraordinary measures will have an effect on our lives and the way we do business for the foreseeable future and this will result in many challenges. We acknowledge the risk of exposure to our staff as well as customers.
In order to help reduce the impact on our personnel, we have restricted access to our office.
Our services will remain fully operational subject to sectoral determinations. We will continue to be operational and provide services with regards to our control room, armed response, monitoring, guarding, emergency medical response and fire response.
Field Security Offices will be closed from 26/03/2020 00:00 and will only be reachable remotely via phone, WhatsApp or email.

All Field Security first responders will be equipped with the appropriate PPE regarding COVID-19

Key collections:
No keys will be handled from our control room during the implementation of the national lockdown. Any person collecting/returning keys after the lockdown date and time will be refused to do so unless deemed an emergency and confirmed through Field Security’s Manager. This includes but is not limited to cleaners, builders, plumbers, electricians, guests, etc.
Field Security urges all South Africans to unite against the worldwide COVID-19 outbreak and to be resilient, empathetic and responsible.
